1. Create Your Account

Go to nompany.com/sign-up and sign up using your name, email address, and password.

2. Automatic Login

After signing up, you will be logged in automatically and redirected to your documents page at nompany.com/documents.

3. Create a New Document

Click the Create Document button located in the top-right corner of the page.

4. Upload or Capture a Tutorial

You can either:

Upload an existing tutorial video, or

* Capture your screen while performing a tutorial, then stop the capture when finished.

To ensure successful processing:

Maximum size: 100 MB
Maximum length: 5 minutes
Minimum length: 10 seconds

Sharing & Access Control

Nompany gives you simple and flexible options to control how your documents are shared.

Public Access

When a document is set to Public, it can be accessed by anyone on the internet using its link. If your profile is public, the document may also appear on your public profile.

Best for: Public guides, help articles, and documentation meant for wide sharing. Limitation: Anyone with the link can view the document.

Private Access

When a document is set to Private, access is restricted to specific email addresses you choose. For each email you add:

A secure, unique link with a token is generated
The recipient receives the link by email
You can also copy and share the link manually Anyone with this private link can access the document, but it cannot be discovered publicly, and the token cannot be generated or guessed by others.

|| Important: Only share the private link with people you trust. If you don’t share it, no one else can access the document.

Nompany keeps sharing simple while giving you full control over who can view your content.

Editing and Refining Generated Guides

Nompany is designed to generate guides that require little to no editing before use. In most cases, the generated document is ready to be shared immediately.

If you need to make changes, you can easily refine the guide to better match your needs. Make sure key elements such as the title, description, GIF preview, and screenshots are clear and accurate, as they improve readability and understanding.

You can add new steps before or after any existing step to extend or adjust the workflow. Text can be edited directly by clicking on it—no complex edit modes or extra steps required.

If needed, you can delete any generated GIF preview or screenshot and upload a replacement. At any time, you may also reset the document to its original, AI-generated version if you want to start over.

To export a document, simply click on the Export options available within the document view. You can choose from the following formats:

Each format is designed to support different use cases, whether you are sharing, publishing, or editing your documentation elsewhere.

You can also allow document viewers to export the document themselves by enabling the export permission option. This gives others the ability to download or copy the document in supported formats.
