Common Issues & Fixes

This article covers the most common issues you may encounter while using Nompany and how to resolve them quickly.


1. Document Generation Fails

Nompany relies on external AI and processing services. In rare cases, document generation may fail.

What to do:

The system includes automatic retry logic. Simply wait a few minutes, and the process will usually continue. If the issue persists for an extended period, contact us directly and we will resolve it promptly.


2. Slow Generation Time

Processing time depends on video length and current system load.

What to do:

Wait up to 10 minutes for longer videos. This is normal behavior, similar to uploading a video to YouTube.


3. UI or User Experience Bugs

You may occasionally encounter visual glitches or unexpected interface behavior.

What to do:

Report the issue immediately through the support chat. UI and UX issues are treated as high priority and fixed as quickly as possible.


4. Forgot Your Password

If you forget your account password, you can reset it yourself.

What to do:

Use the Forgot Password option on the login page. You must have access to your email address to receive the password reset link.


5. Video Upload Fails

Uploads may fail due to unstable internet connections or unsupported files.

What to do:

Ensure your video meets size and length limits, and retry using a stable network connection.


6. Incorrect or Missing Steps in the Guide

In some cases, steps may be missing or unclear due to video quality.

What to do:

Ensure the tutorial video is clear, sequential, and focused. You can also manually edit the guide after generation.


7. Language Not as Expected

The generated document may appear in an unexpected language if the input is unclear.

What to do:

Check your language selection before generating the document and regenerate if needed.


8. Page Not Updating or Loading Issues

Browser caching or network issues may prevent pages from updating correctly.

What to do:

Refresh the page, clear your browser cache, or try a different browser.
