Getting Started with Nompany
This guide walks you through the exact steps to create your first document using Nompany.
1. Create Your Account
Go to nompany.com/sign-up and sign up using your name, email address, and password.

2. Automatic Login
After signing up, you will be logged in automatically and redirected to your documents page at nompany.com/documents.

3. Create a New Document
Click the Create Document button located in the top-right corner of the page.

4. Upload or Capture a Tutorial
You can either:
- Upload an existing tutorial video, or
- Capture your screen while performing a tutorial, then stop the capture when finished.

5. Video Requirements
To ensure successful processing:
- Maximum size: 100 MB
- Maximum length: 5 minutes
- Minimum length: 10 seconds
- The video must demonstrate a clear tutorial or workflow
6. Document Generation
Once the video is uploaded and the document is created, simply wait while Nompany processes it.
Behind the scenes, the system:
- Analyzes the video using AI
- Generates a step-by-step guide
- Extracts screenshots and previews
- Creates an optional voice guide
This process usually takes 5–10 minutes, depending on video length and system load—similar to uploading a video to YouTube.
7. Your First Document Is Ready
When processing finishes, your document will appear in your documents list.
Congratulations—you’ve created your first Nompany document 🎉

8. If Something Goes Wrong
If generation fails, don’t worry:
- Nompany has built-in retry logic and may resolve it automatically.
- If the issue persists, contact us via the Chat With Us button on the bottom left menu and we’ll fix it right away.
You’re now ready to start documenting workflows, tutorials, and knowledge effortlessly with Nompany.
